Wenge heartwood is very dark and dense with a coarse grain and a pattern of nearly black grains separated by dark brown grains. Its figure is very distinctive with a strong partridge pattern. Kohler uses Wenge in their Escale Vanity furniture. Congo and Tanzania. 40.5 x 16.25 mm. 5.35 mm hole.
