Wenge heartwood is very dark and dense with a coarse grain and a pattern of nearly black grains separated by dark brown grains. Its figure is very distinctive with a strong partridge pattern. Kohler uses Wenge in their Escale Vanity furniture. Origin is Congo and Tanzania. Wenge slimline twist pen is thinner than the comfort style, and uses a cross style refill. Gold Titanium metal finish
