*SOLD* Ernie designed and turned this cremation urn for one of our dearest friends, who requested local woods be utiliized. The top finial is ambrosia maple, the collar and center vertical stripes are black walnut. Outside vertical stripes are honduras mahogany, and the surrounding wood with the wave figure is hickory. The wood making up the upper body is curly maple, and the base is butternut.
Bolivian rosewood is the seventh species of wood used for the threads used to unscrew the top.
This urn is 13 1/2" high and 8 3/8" wide. The base is 4 3/8" wide. Ernie can design and complete similar vessels in about 8 weeks. Price will vary depending on size and wood species.
